"Quiet" refers to the Quiet mobile application, website, platform, services, features, communities, consultation systems, and all related technologies operated and managed by the Quiet Team.
A User is any individual who accesses, browses, registers, or uses Quiet in any manner.
A Practitioner means any verified psychiatrist, counselor, therapist, psychologist, physiotherapist, or other professional approved by Quiet to provide consultation services through the Platform.
Vent refers to the anonymous emotional-expression feature that allows users to share thoughts, feelings, experiences, and concerns with other users.
Circle refers to a user-created community or group approved by Quiet where members may interact, communicate, and participate in discussions.
By accessing, downloading, registering for, or using Quiet, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Your continued use of Quiet constitutes electronic acceptance of these Terms and creates a legally binding agreement between you and Quiet.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Platform.
Users must be at least thirteen (13) years old to access or use Quiet.
Users between 13 and 17 years of age may use Quiet only under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.
Users below the age of 13 are prohibited from creating accounts or using any services offered through Quiet.
Providing false age information may result in account suspension or permanent termination.

Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities occurring through their account.
Users agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and account maintenance.
Users must immediately notify Quiet if they suspect unauthorized access to their account.
Quiet performs verification procedures before approving practitioner profiles.
Practitioners may be required to submit:
Only practitioners successfully reviewed and approved by Quiet may receive a verification badge.
Quiet reserves the right to approve, reject, suspend, or remove practitioner profiles at its sole discretion.
Practitioners are independent professionals and are not employees, agents, or representatives of Quiet.
Quiet may facilitate:
Consultation fees are determined by individual practitioners and displayed before booking.
Users must complete payment before consultation services begin.
Consultation duration shall be determined by the practitioner.
Practitioners may upload prescriptions, recommendations, treatment plans, or other documents when appropriate.
Quiet does not guarantee:
Quiet is not an emergency medical service and must not be relied upon during emergencies.
Payments may be processed through authorized third-party payment providers.
Quiet may deduct applicable platform fees, payment processing charges, taxes, and other lawful deductions.
Practitioner earnings may be released after applicable deductions, including:
Refunds may be granted when a practitioner fails to provide the booked consultation.
Applicable processing charges may be deducted from refunded amounts.
Quiet reserves the right to investigate suspicious refund requests.
Vent is intended solely for emotional expression and peer support.
User names may be hidden and replaced with platform-generated identifiers.
Vent posts may be visible to other users of the Platform.
Vent posts may automatically expire and be removed after approximately twenty-four (24) hours.
Users remain solely responsible for content they publish through Vent.
Vent is not a substitute for:
Users may communicate through private peer-to-peer messaging features.
Users may not use messaging systems for:
Users may report and block other users when necessary.
Quiet may investigate reported violations and take appropriate action.
Circle creation requires approval from the Quiet moderation team.
Circle creators may establish paid communities subject to Quiet approval.
Circle administrators may manage membership, remove members, and establish community rules.
Quiet reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or remove any Circle at any time.
Quiet may deduct platform fees from paid Circle revenue before settlement.
Users may not upload, share, distribute, encourage, or promote:
Content encouraging suicide, self-harm, or dangerous behavior.
Content targeting individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
Bullying, intimidation, threats, or abuse.
Sexually exploitative, abusive, or unlawful material.
Any activity prohibited under applicable law.
Quiet may immediately remove such content and take enforcement action without prior notice.
Quiet is not designed for emergency situations.
Users experiencing suicidal thoughts, severe emotional distress, or crisis situations should immediately contact emergency services, a qualified healthcare provider, or an approved crisis support service.
Quiet may automatically remove content associated with self-harm, suicide promotion, violence, harassment, or abuse.
Quiet may suspend or permanently ban users whose conduct threatens platform safety.
Users may report:
Quiet reserves the right to review reported content, accounts, communications, and activities to ensure compliance with these Terms and applicable laws.
Quiet may use automated systems, filters, artificial intelligence tools, keyword detection systems, and other technologies to identify harmful or prohibited content.
Reported content may be reviewed by authorized members of the Quiet moderation team.
Quiet may remove content without prior notice where such content:
Quiet may immediately suspend accounts, remove content, or restrict access where urgent safety concerns are identified.
Quiet may suspend or restrict any account that:
Repeated violations or severe misconduct may result in permanent account termination.
Account suspension or termination may result in loss of access to Platform features without refund where permitted by law.
Users may appeal moderation decisions by contacting:
Quiet reserves final authority regarding account restoration decisions.
Users retain ownership of content they create and publish through Quiet.
By publishing content, users grant Quiet a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to:

Quiet does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of user-generated content.
Quiet may remove content at any time without notice.
All intellectual property rights relating to Quiet remain the exclusive property of Quiet and its licensors.

"Quiet" and related branding elements are protected intellectual property.
Quiet may integrate third-party services to operate the Platform.
Payments may be processed through third-party payment gateways.
Quiet may use third-party authentication systems including Google Sign-In.
Quiet may utilize analytics services to improve functionality, performance, and user experience.
Quiet is not responsible for the independent practices, services, policies, or actions of third-party providers.
Quiet acts solely as a technology platform facilitating interactions between users and practitioners.
Quiet shall not be responsible for:
Quiet shall not be liable for disputes, disagreements, or interactions between users.
Quiet is not responsible for content, advice, activities, or decisions made within Circles.
Quiet does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quiet's total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the user to Quiet during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Users agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Quiet, its administrators, moderators, contractors, affiliates, and representatives from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses arising from:
This obligation includes reasonable legal fees and litigation expenses.
Quiet shall not be liable for delays, interruptions, or failures caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including:
Quiet will make reasonable efforts to restore services when possible.
Quiet does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Platform.

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India.
All disputes arising from or relating to Quiet shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
Users agree to first attempt good-faith resolution of disputes by contacting Quiet before initiating formal legal proceedings.
